The catalogue for the 2017 Cape Mare Sale is now online and can be viewed at www.tba.co.za
A one day sale, set to take place at the luscious Mistico Equestrian Centre near Paarl, the Mare Sale is scheduled to take place on Thursday the 18th of May.

No fewer than 196 lots have been catalogued for the sale, which is set to get underway at noon.

The sale also includes the Al Adaayit broodmare reduction sale, which consists of 11 fillies or mares, the majority of whom have been tested in foal to Al Adaayit’s former champion and Dubai G1 winner Vercingetorix, a son of the uber hot sire Silvano.

As usual, the sale will comprise a mixture of broodmares/fillies for stud and weanlings.

Covering sires include Anger, Ashaawes, Black Minnaloushe, Bold Silvano, Byword, Captain Of All, Duke Of Marmalade, Dynasty, Elusive Fort, Fencing Master, Flower Alley, Flying The Flag, Futura, Gimmethegreenlight, Global View, Go Deputy, Greys Inn, Ideal World, Jackson, Jay Peg, Judpot, Kingsbarns, Legislate, Louis The King, Master Of My Fate, Oratorio, Pathfork, Philanthropist, Pomodoro, Querari, Trippi, Twice Over, Vercingetorix, Visionaire, What A Winter and Where’s That Tiger.

Among the notable mares on sale is high class black type winner Pay The Piper (in foal to Vercingetorix),  seven time stakes winner Nik Nak (in foal to Twice Over), stakes winner Crescent Lily (in foal to Captain Of All), G3 performer Fear Not (sells as a filly for stud), Encosta De Lago’s G3 daughter Galaxy Gal (in foal to Twice Over), the dam of G3 winner State Blue (in foal to Philanthropist), seven time stakes winner Jettatura (in foal to Dynasty),

Stallions represented by their first South African weanlings at this sale include champion sprinter Captain Of All and Vercingetorix, with other exciting sires represented by weanlings here including Elusive Fort, Gimmethgreenlight, Judpot ,Noble Tune, Oratorio, Philanthropist, Pomodoro, Twice Over, and the red hot What A Winter.
