Team Valor International have purchased three classy race fillies who are destined for France – two of them have already left Mauritian shores at the end of October and will be sporting the familiar green colours with a red chevron in Europe.

American-based Team Valor International have enjoyed significant success with exporting South African-bred fillies over the years, who have gone to immense success with the likes of Gypsy’s Warning, Captain’s Lover, Crimson Palace, Irridescence and Ipi Tombi amongst others.

Gr3 winning filly Anna Pavlova, a R40 000 purchase off Summerhill’s Summer Ready To Run Sale, won the Three Troikas and is a daughter of St Petersburg, who produced a Gr1 winner with Solzhenitsyn  in Australia. Anna Pavlova hails from the damline of sire Kahal.

Flying Ice, a Lammerskraal-bred daughter of Go Deputy out of a Western Winter Gr2 placed mare, is the winner of Gr2 Gold Bracelet and Devon Air Listed. Sold for just R125 000 at the 2014 National Yearling Sale, her dam is an own sister to Gr1 winner Solo Traveller, from the damline of Taineberry and Jalberry.

The last to go is Brave Mary who has just entered quarantine at Kenilworth, destined for France via Mauritius. Bred by Rupert Plersch, the daughter of Brave Tin Soldier out of a Rich Man’s Gold mare won the Gr1 Allan Robertson in May and sold to Team Valor after her Gr1 win.

Brave Mary followed through recently with a courageous second in the recent CTS Ready To Run Cup. Brave Mary was knocked down to Greenstreet Bloodstock initially for R40 000 at the 2016 CTS Ready To Run Sale in Johannesburg.
