Justify Retired To WinStar Farm

SAF-bred Hawaii, raced with great distinction in South Africa and appears in Justify's pedigree on both his male and female lines.

Undefeated 2018 US Triple Crown winner Justify (Scat Daddy) has been retired from racing and will stand at WinStar Farm. Justify is inbred to South African star racehorse and sire of his time, Hawaii.

Campaigned by WinStar Farm, China Horse Club, Head of Plains Partners, and Starlight Racing, he won the Gr1 Kentucky Derby in May and became the first horse since Apollo in 1882 to win the Derby without starting as a 2-year-old.

He went on to become the 13th Triple Crown winner in history and the first undefeated winner since Seattle Slew in 1977.

Justify won the Belmont Stakes in China Horse Club’s red and yellow colours after taking the Derby and Preakness in WinStar’s silks.

On Saturday at Greyville, the red and yellow silks of the CHC will be carried by Dagmar in the Gr1 Thekwini Stakes.
