Billy Boy Ruiters, a former assistant to trainer Chris Erasmus, got off the mark at the Vaal yesterday with Quattro Passi (by French Gr3 winner Eightfold Path) the five year old gelding and BSA graduate winning for the 3rd occasion and owned by Barry Marais.

Having taken out his licence near the beginning of November 2021, his string have already earned 17 cheques for Billy’s connections.

Ruiters has 31 horses in training at Turffontein, including 12 unraced 2yo’s.

Quattro Passi is out of a Jet Master mare Quick Delivery, from a Scott Bros’ Argentine female line.
