Fire Away (War Front) has been enjoying a tremendous stretch, recently producing five winners in three race meetings, including his talented daughter Luna Halo, who won the Breeders Guineas Plate at Fairview.

He also enjoyed doubles at Turffontein with Tintamarre (1160m) and Explosive Bond (2400m); the latter winning the TAB Spook Express Listed, trained by Paul Matchett and bred by Ascot Stud.

Fire Away’s Black Types include Egyptian Mau, Explosive Bond, Fire ‘N Flames, Luna Halo, My Golly Molly and Zil Morris.

He is a half brother to Mr Speaker, winner of the Gr1 Belmont Derby and his second dam is the undefeated 13-time champion mare, Personal Ensign.

Fire Away will be represented at the BSA Cape Yearling Sale by three Lots.

He stands at Wilgerbosdrift for a fee of R20 000 in the 2023 season.
