What A Week For Narrow Creek

It’s been a memorable week for Narrow Creek Stud, with four winners in two days including a debut winner by nine lengths.

Three of the winners this week have siblings consigned at the National Yearling Sale coming up.

Isivivane (Erupt) won on KZN debut for Hollywood Syndicate at Hollywoodbets Scottsville, trained by Peter Muscutt. Glistian Events owned Tomyris (Vercingetorix) followed through to get her well deserved maiden win, after finished second on two prior occasions.

Thursday saw another double for the farm of John and Renee Everett, as aptly named Buffalo Storm Cody (Buffalo Billy Cody – Musical Romance), won on debut by nine lengths for Kestorm Investments of Bless My Stars fame, trained by Tony Peter.

Joker Man followed through for the family of Laurence Wernars and trained by Johan Janse Van Vurren, the Vercingetorix gelding out of a Western Winter half sister to Sandringham Summit and Eden Roc, won his third race in a row to end off another good day for the farm.

Look for Joker Man’s Hawwaam sister on offer at the National Yearling Sale as Lot 191. Tomyris has a Rafeef brother on offer as Lot 177, whilst Isivivane has a sister by in form Canford Cliffs consigned as Lot 300.

Narrow Creek also have the only yearling consigned to Nationals by Buffalo Bill Cody, Lot 243 named Yippee Kiyay. Buffalo Bill Cody’s stats are boasting 50% winners to runners, with an AEPR of just over R83 000.
