David Hepburn-Brown’s Hemel ‘N Aarde Stud have enjoyed a double at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Monday, followed on by a winner at the Vaal on Tuesday afternoon.
Hemel ‘N Aarde Stud have enjoyed 59 winners this season with over R5,5-million in stakes earned, for a winners to runners percentage of almost 43%.
The consistent Horizon juvenile gelding Mister Nibbles (pictured) gave his part owner Ryan King his first ever winner, owned in partnership with Sterling Miller of Pound Bloodstock, and broke his maiden under Tristan Godden for trainer Mike Miller to give the stable their first of a double on the day. Out of Trippi mare Girls Best Friend, the R80 000 KZN Yearling Sale graduate has placed three times from six runs.

They include Lot 40 Butterfly Express, a proven recipe as the filly is a full sister to the deceased 5-time winner Blackwhitedynamite owned by Hollywood Syndicate and named for The Sharks rugby team, as well as Gr3 placed and multiple winner, Tread Swiftly.
