Sandringham Summit boasts an impressive race record with five wins, 1160-1600m, at 2 and 3. His key victories include triumphs in the Gr1 World Pool Moment Of The Day Premiers Champion Stakes and the Gr2 Durban Golden Horseshoe, as well as the Gr2 Gauteng Guineas and Gr2 Hawaii Stakes. His performance in these high-stakes races has cemented his status as a top-tier racehorse in South Africa. He further placed second in the Gr1 SA Classic, Gr1  SA Guineas and Gr3 Graham Beck Stakes, finishing third in the Gr2 Dingaans.

Throughout his career, Sandringham Summit has consistently placed in the top tier, proving his reliability and speed on the track.

Sandringham Summit is a half-brother to Eden Roc, a Gr1 winner by Var who stood first season at stud in KZN in 2023.

Sandringham Summit was purchased for R1,700,000 at the 2022 National Yearling Sale, reflecting his high value and potential even before his racing career began. Trained by David Nieuwenhuizen, he was purchased by Rakesh Singh and bought as a stallion prospect and syndicated, racing in the famous red and white colours of Varsfontein Stud. This is also the family of Zapatillas, Hollywoodbets Durban July entrant Shoemaker and Regal Ransom.

Sandringham Summit’s retirement from racing marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, congratulations to Varsfontein Stud.
