Bred by Maine Chance Farms, she is listed on Breeders Cup website as a possible entrant for the Breeders Filly and Mare Turf, along with Drakenstein / Cayton Park Stud’s Beach Bomb (Lancaster Bomber). She is owned by John Stewart and trained by Chad Brown.
Out of Captain Al mare Princess Royal, she was owned by Mario Ferreira in South Africa. A versatile mare over distances of sprint to mile, her Gr1 wins include the Gr1 City Of Cape Town Majorca Stakes, HSH Princess Charlene Empress Club Stakes, The Witness South African Fillies Sprint and Hong Kong Jockey Club Champions Cup.
Dual Gr1 winner Beach Bomb will step out on the same day for her second start in the USA after an eye-catching second on American debut, in the Gr2 Rodeo Drive Stakes at Santa Anita, trained by Graham Motion. She will race over 2000m for a stake of $200 000.
